Name of the Choir: St. Mary’s Youth Choir
Ages: 9-18
Dates: Mondays from 4-5pm beginning September 14th (see calendar below for exact dates)
Mondays from 4:00-4:40pm – All children ages 9-18
Mondays from 4:40-5:00pm – Older children ages 12-18
Location: St. Mary’s School classroom (exact room TBD)
Price: $100 for the year which covers 27 weeks of choir. Scholarships are available, no child will be denied because of financial hardship.
Directors: Rita McIntyre and Kirsten Trudeau
Repertoire: Gregorian chant, hymnody, motets and rounds, contemporary religious choral works.
St. Mary’s Youth Choir will be joining the American Federation of Pueri Cantores, the official student choral organization of the Catholic Church. We plan to attend the Michigan Pueri Cantores Festival in Grand Rapids in March, 2027.
Full 2026-2027 Calendar: Rehearsal will always be canceled when there is a snow day.
