Hello! What a winter wonderland it is today! Hope you are staying warm and dry today as the snow continues to fall outside…
A couple updates for this afternoon: Confession tonight will start at 6pm so that Father Peter can squeeze in a meeting with our Finance Council this afternoon.
We still have a few poinsettias that are in need of a good home – they are just outside the church in the hallway, please grab one if you would like one (or two!).
We will celebrate Candlemas next Tuesday, February 2 with a blessing of the candles after the 8:30am Mass. If you have candles you would like to have blessed for your home, please bring them before Mass on Tuesday. There will be a dedicated spot for them on the altar steps for the blessing.
“In order to be an image of God, the spirit must turn to what is eternal, hold it in spirit, keep it in memory, and by loving it, embrace it in the will.”
– St. Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein)
