Good Thursday Morning!

– Apologies for the long silence since Christmas, but our staff had a well-deserved, restful break between Christmas and New Year. Now we’re back to the races!
– We have some wonderful speaker opportunities coming up this month, focusing on the Eucharistic Revival:

– First, Dr. Mary Healy will be speaking on Friday, January 12 about Living the Eucharistic Life starting at 7pm at Christ the King in Acme.  The Friday talk is open to anyone who would like to attend.Dr. Healy is also the keynote speaker at the 2024 Absolute Catholic Women’s retreat on Saturday, January 13. Both flyers are attached below. The Saturday Women’s retreat requires pre-registration: www.absolutecatholic.com.

– On Saturday, January 20, Bishop Walsh will be offering a presentation on the Most Holy Eucharist starting at 10am at St. Augustine Church in Boyne Falls. A soup luncheon will follow the presentation, all are welcome to attend.

– Don’t forget we will have a representative from Corporate Travel here on Friday at 6pm to discuss the pilgrimage to Italy this October. Please join us in the Parish center tomorrow evening to learn about this amazing opportunity!

A reminder that this weekend is the first weekend of the month which means first Friday Mass and first Saturday Mass for anyone participating in or starting those devotions as part of the New Year. Please join us for Mass at 12:30pm on Friday and 8:30am on Saturday.

– Don’t forget to bring in your religious articles this weekend! We will offer an Epiphany blessing of your religious articles after the 4pm Vigil Mass and between the 8am and 10am Masses. Please bring your sacramentals, oils, salt, images, etc. for blessing this weekend.

– Finally, just a friendly PSA that the Charlevoix bridge will be closed next Wednesday, January 10 from 7pm until 7am the following morning. Please plan accordingly!
