Good Thursday Afternoon!

– Our fourth & final Lenten Fish Fry Friday is this Friday starting at 5pm. Dine-in and take-out options are available. Proceeds benefit the St. Mary School “middle school excursion fund.” We hope you can join us!

– Rice bowls are out and about throughout the Parish and ready to take home to collect your spare change during Lent. These funds are returned to our Parish so that we can donate to our local community food pantry needs. Thanks in advance for your generosity!

– This weekend is food pantry weekend. Food baskets will be at the Parish entry doors and green envelopes will be in the pews. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

– Also this weekend we will be holding a special collection for Catholic Relief Services. There will be envelopes in the pews and a link on our online giving platform if you would prefer to give electronically.

– Don’t forget to make your reservations to join Fr. Peter on a pilgrimage to Italy this coming October! Brochures can be found in the Parish gathering spaces or call the office for more information.

– The St. Michael High School 3rd Annual Celebration Gala will take place on Saturday, April 27 at the Grand Unity Event Center in Petoskey. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling: 231-489-3302. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to support our local Catholic high school!

– Charlevoix Cinema III will be showing the movie “Cabrini” starting this Friday, March 8. The story is of an Italian immigrant nun who fights for orphaned children in late 1800’s/early 1900’s New York City. For more information, please check the Cinema III website: charlevoixcinema.com

– Finally, Georgeann Lindberg and her sister, Suzanne Bruning, wanted to share the following message with all of you:
“St. Joseph’s Wells would like to thank St. Mary’s Parishioners for their continued support to keep us drilling. Our next well is or a medical clinic and school for women and a daycare/school for their children. The women will learn life skills so that they can support themselves and their families while the children will be taken care of and educated by the Sisters of our Lady of Kilimanjaro.”
God Bless you,
Georgeann Lindberg, Director SJW
Suzanne Bruning, Director, SJW
