Good Thursday Afternoon!

– Just a few reminders as we start heading into the weekend… – We have some wonderful speaker opportunities starting this Friday, focused on the Eucharistic Revival:

-First, Dr. Mary Healy will be speaking on Friday, January 12 about Living the Eucharistic Life starting at 7pm at Christ the King in Acme.  The Friday talk is open to anyone who would like to attend.Dr. Healy is also the keynote speaker at the 2024 Absolute Catholic Women’s retreat on Saturday, January 13. Both flyers are attached below. The Saturday Women’s retreat requires pre-registration: www.absolutecatholic.com.  – On Saturday, January 20, Bishop Walsh will be offering a presentation on the Most Holy Eucharist starting at 10am at St. Augustine Church in Boyne Falls. A soup luncheon will follow the presentation, all are welcome to attend. – We are taking reservations for the fall 2024 pilgrimage to Italy. Information can be found in the brochure attached below.  – This weekend Food Pantry weekend. Green envelopes are in the pews and food baskets will be at the Parish entry doors.  – A reminder that the funeral for Janet Jones is tomorrow at 12pm followed by a luncheon in the Parish center. Thank you to all the volunteers who signed up to help or bring in food! – Finally, due to the funeral tomorrow, we will not have confessions at 12pm, but WILL have the Holy Hour at 3pm. Please stop in and spend a little time with Jesus!
