Good Morning!

Just a few important reminders for the weekend and preparations for Holy Week next week (please read all the way to the end!):

We begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday, the day that Jesus triumphantly entered the city of Jerusalem. Masses will begin in the gym, and then process into the church for the reading of the Passion. Palms will be available for everyone to take home.

The Knights of Columbus will be leading the Stations of the Cross starting at 5pm this evening. Next week, on Good Friday, Stations of the Cross will be at 2:15pm following the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 2pm.

Please note that there have been a few changes to the Holy Week schedule:Tuesday: The Passion Movie will start at 4pm.Holy Thursday: Mass will begin at 5pm. Easter Vigil Mass will begin at 8pm. Thanks to everyone for your flexibility and understanding!

Tickets are on sale now for St. Michael High School’s 3rd Annual Celebration Gala! The evening will consist of a silent auction, raffles, dinner, drinks and a live auction. All proceeds go to support operations at St. Michael High School. Please join in the fun and support our local Catholic High School!

If you are planning on making the pilgrimage to Italy in October, now is the time to sign up and put down your deposit! We have had many people say they are planning on going, but have not yet signed up. We need to know how many pilgrims we have coming in order to know whether or not the trip is a “go” so please use the link here to get on the list!

Please join us for donuts this Sunday between the 8am and 10am Masses to celebrate the retirement of Rich Borths. “Mr. Rich” has worked for St. Mary since August of 2021 and will be remembered for his good-natured “hustle” and always
being willing to help out.

Following Rich’s retirement, we are thrilled to announce that Jason O’Neal will be joining us in April as our new Campus Maintenance lead. Jason and his family attend St. Mary Parish and their older two children attend St. Mary School. Jason comes to us with a wealth of experience in facility management and skilled carpentry and we are very excited to have him join the St. Mary team!

Finally, a reminder that MDOT is planning a bridge closure starting next Monday night from 7pm until 7am the following morning. The bridge will be closed from 7pm – 7am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday into Friday morning.  Please make your plans accordingly.
