| Good Afternoon! A few items to share today for the weekend and beyond: -Following on his homily last weekend, Father Peter wanted to share this very moving and powerful short film about the Mass: The Veil Removed. -If you are interested, Fr. Rocky is currently offering a free book – Treasures of the Rosary -The Rosary Altar Society will have an organizational meeting on Tuesday, August 3 after morning Mass. We will meet in the parish center for coffee, pastries, and lots of discussion about our parish ministries. Please come – all women of the parish are members of this wonderful group and we would love to have your input and participation! -Next weekend, Radical4Him Ministries is hosting “Worship on the Farm.” Gates open around 10am Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the music and entertainment start around 3pm. Please see the poster below for more details or visit their website: radical4him.com. -We are planning a few fun things in conjunction with the Feast Day of the Assumption of Mary the weekend of August 14/15: On Saturday, August 14 we will have “Adoration under the Stars.” We’ll start with an ice cream social at 8pm and then have an hour or so of Adoration and praise music with our Music Director, Tony Manfredonia, outside in the parking lot. Please remember to bring a lawn chair or a blanket! Sunday August 15 is the St. Mary Parish Picnic starting at 12pm at Ferry Beach. Bring a dish to share, we will supply the brats, hot dogs and soda! -We have a funeral luncheon coming up next Friday, August 6. If you can help out with food items, please sign up here. -Finally, a big thank you to everyone who came to Evening with the Heart of Jesus this past Wednesday and last month.
