 A few reminders/updates for the weekend: Fr. Peter will not be back until tomorrow afternoon so First Saturday Mass and confessions are cancelled tomorrow morning. There is a first Saturday Mass in Harbor Springs at Holy Childhood at 8am. This weekend is the St. Mary School cookie walk. Cookies will be available for sale by the bag (quart or gallon size) after all weekend Masses. If you would like to donate cookies, please deliver them to the Parish kitchen on Saturday before 3pm. We will also have hand-made beaded rosary bracelets for sale. These would be a Christmas great gift and are priced to sell so don’t forget to check them out when you stop in for your cookies! All proceeds benefit St. Mary School. The Rejoice! Advent journals are available for pickup. Liz Gengle will have them after the 10am Mass for the presentation this weekend. If you would like to purchase the electronic version, the link is here from Ascension Press. Please do join us on Sunday after the 10am Mass to watch the Rejoice Advent reflection video and join in some group discussion and reflection together! The videos for last Sunday/week 1 and week 2 can be found here. Next weekend is the parish-wide collection for religious retirement. There are flyers in this weekend’s bulletin and we will have envelopes in the pews next weekend for the collection. Finally, please plan to come for the Festival of Lessons and Carols on Sunday starting at 5pm. This is a lovely service of scripture readings, carols and prayer led by Fr. Peter, Tony Manfredonia and our amazing St. Mary Choir. Bring your family, bring your friends! We might even have some leftover cookies to share! 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend! |
